Homemade Biscuits and Gravy
Ahh... There is nothing like a good breakfast on the weekend! 

Homemade Bisquick mix makes the biscuits super easy, and homemade sausage gravy is simple and delicious!


8 oz. ground sausage (1/2 of a 1 lb. roll)
3 Tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
9 homemade biscuits


1.  Break up sausage in a skillet and cook over medium heat until browned.

2.  Stir 3 tablespoons of flour into the skillet; cook for 1 minute.

3.  Add 1 1/2 cups of milk and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil.  Reduce heat to low and continue to stir and cook until thickened.

4.  Add salt and pepper (you may need to add more according to your taste).

Serve hot over biscuits.  Serves 4-5.
