Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or canola)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Slice or pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick for fast, even cooking.

  2. Whisk vinegar, water, oil, and seasonings in a large bowl. Add chicken, cover, and marinate 1 hour or overnight.

  3. Grill over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side.
(No grill? Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 5 minutes per side.)

  4. Let chicken cool completely, then cut into ¼-inch strips.

  5. Divide into two freezer bags. Refrigerate up to 3 days or freeze up to 6 months.
