Southwest Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Strips

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

¼ cup lime juice

2 tablespoons oil (vegetable or canola)

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon liquid smoke

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions

Slice or gently pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick for quick, even cooking.

In a large bowl, whisk lime juice, oil, soy sauce, and spices. Add chicken, cover, and marinate for 1 hour or overnight.

Grill over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side, or broil 4-6 inches from heat for 5 minutes per side.
