This easy homemade coleslaw recipe comes together in minutes and tastes so much fresher than anything you’ll find at the store. With crisp cabbage, sweet carrots, and a creamy homemade dressing, it’s the perfect side dish for cookouts, weeknight dinners, potlucks, and BBQs.

Homemade Coleslaw Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage

  • 1 carrot, shredded (about ½ cup)
