Pork Tenderloin and Fried Apples |
If you are a fan of pork chops and applesauce (cue Peter Brady), you will love this dish! The pork is super tender and sweet!
Pork Tenderloin and Fried Apples
Ingredients:
1 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch thick pieces
¼ cup flour
Dash salt
Dash pepper
2 Tablespoons butter
2 apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8 slices
¼ cup brown sugar
Directions:
1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bowl; dredge each piece of meat in flour mixture.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add pork pieces and brown on both sides.
3. Reduce heat to low. Add apples to skillet; sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve pork topped with apples.
Makes 4 servings
