Magic Banana Cookies (Easy 2-Ingredient Recipe with Add-Ins!)
Looking for a quick, healthy, and naturally sweet treat? These Magic Banana Cookies are the easiest cookies you’ll ever make! With just two main ingredients—ripe bananas and oats—you can whip up a batch in minutes. They’re soft, chewy, and surprisingly delicious for how simple they are.
I first tried these cookies when I had one overripe banana sitting on the counter, and I couldn’t believe how well they turned out. I like to call them “magic” because it almost seems impossible that such a small ingredient list works—but it does!
To add extra flavor, I stirred in some mini chocolate chips and a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can keep them plain for a naturally sweet, sugar-free treat, or customize them with your favorite mix-ins. They’re perfect if you’re looking for an easy gluten-free or dairy-free dessert.
Ingredients
-
1 very ripe banana, mashed
-
½ cup quick oats
-
2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
-
¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a bowl, mash the banana and stir in oats until well combined. Mix in chocolate chips and cinnamon, if using.
-
Drop spoonfuls of dough (about 1 tablespoon each) onto the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake for 15 minutes, or until cookies are set and lightly golden.
Yield: About 9 cookies
These banana oat cookies are perfect for a healthy snack, lunchbox treat, or quick breakfast on the go. The best part? You’ll never look at that lone overripe banana the same way again!
